Photography Workshops

The greater majority of photographers are not professional photographers but are passionate enough about it to try to learn more about their chosen hobby. An excellent way to learn more on photography in general or to learn about specific topics within photography is to go to a Workshop. The term workshop is a very broad and liberal term in this sense. A Workshop can range from an online or DVD course with a few pointers all the way up to a highly specific weeklong stay learning about photography in a Desert setting in the Mojave Desert. These workshops are typically run by top quality professional photographers so there's a lot that you can learn from them. Do your research carefully and try to use word of mouth as a guage for the know-how of the workshops. What you're buying is someone's expertise, so investigate as if you were purchasing consulting time (which you are). If you want to hone your photographic skills, attending a seminar is highly highly recommended.
