Portable Audio
The portable music section of this site is going to be a little bit different than the photography section of the site. The photography section lends itself to lots of pages and lots of tools mainly because the time used for digital photography is primarily used AFTER the picture is taken. For the most part, MP3 files aren't altered by the end user. Most computer users don't record their own music (unless of course you record and bootleg concerts).
This section of the site will focus on the different types of hardware (players) that are available as well as the different music services available. We'll try to ease confusion (there's lots of that) between the services. We'll tell you how to transfer music over to your play. Finally, we'll tell you how to convert some of your favorite songs from your CDs into MP3 that you can transfer onto your player [and maybe free up some space from the CDs that only have 1 song that you like on it].
