Sony Portable Storage Unit
Sony has announced a storage device aimed at the 'road photographer'. If you've got a high quality digital camera, one of the things in your mind is 'how many more pictures can I fit on this card?'. This device can take some of the stress out of this. The Sony device is essentially 3 devices in 1 -- it's a card reader (memory stick and Compact Flash), it's a big disk drive and it's a USB 2.0 port. You can copy photo files from your card or your camera directly into this box. There's no display for you to play back the photos so that you can review them off of your camera, but as an extended storage device for photographers out on the road.
